brief / approach

But first, my own analogue/digital transition that was the Peek-a-Boo single bag...

  ...Siouxsie was keen on a theme of masks - I had some Super8 footage of the Venice Carnival - with someone who I thought could look a bit like her - wearing a mask...

   ...I had this transferred onto video tape (then a hi-tech upgrade..!) and played that in slow motion on my 625 lines, cathode tube TV (at the time the TV & video player were Sony’s finest...) and then took a series of close-up photos with my trusty (and even old then...) Zenit 35mm camera...

   ...I then added a - what turned out to be my last - hand-drawn lettering logo design (the circular flower-like one which I’m very proud of...) and a fun life-size DIY cut-out mask to the back cover of the different 12”mixes’ single bags...

   ...a string of then, state of the arts ‘electronic’ processes - but not quite digital...
